Heeeeeey, long time no talk. I've recently received some notes and comments asking when I'd finally be back, so I figured I'd let everyone know I'm still alive, lol. I've just about finished up all my busy-ness, and I'm hoping to really get back into the swing of things next month. Here's some of the things you can look forward to once I officially come back:
= Done |
= In Progress |
I am now Cynpai, and no, I will not notice you. Profile overhaul.
I've finished fixing up my profile and gallery! Everything is now consistent, and I encourage you to take a look through my gallery to see the new changes! New stamps.
I'd like to begin to move away from stamp-making, and focus more on my art, but there are a few that I want to get out of the way before I do that. Moonlight Resistance.
While I haven't had motivation to draw, I've turned to writing as a creative outlet. The project I've been working on since I was in high school is being completely overhauled. It will no longer take the form of a comic, but a "book," for lack of a better word, though it's been suggested that I should consider publishing it as a physical book. I've been working on MR feverishly, and I'm already several chapters in. Illustrations will be peppered in here and there, and character reference sheets are currently in the making. I will be having a lot
of contests in the future that are centered around this story, so don't go anywhere! Re-enable comments on most stamps.
I might keep them open only for a limited time. Some of my stamps are two or three years old, so what else could be said about them? The proverbial dead horse has not only been beaten--it's been buried and has sufficiently decomposed. New comments are redundant at best, and repeating oneself becomes bothersome. I might just compile the most frequent questions/arguments and responses, and re-write some of the stamp descriptions to address them. More art.
Those of you (outside of my circle)
who have been talking to me in the past few months couldn't possibly know that I've been battling a stress-induced bout of depression, and it has severely impacted my will to draw. Ryan tells me I'm starting to come out of it, but I occasionally slip backwards. I'm determined to stay positive, though. Once I get all of the other things in my life handled, I'll feel less stressed, less pressured, more free to draw, and thus, happier. Hiatus conclusion giveaway.
Yep! When I officially come back, I'll be doing a giveaway. Consider it a kind of token of my thanks for sticking around for so long while I've been away. <3
There will probably be some other stuff going on, but those are the most important things on my list right now. I'm really looking forward to getting back to normal, and I'm grateful for everyone's patience. Sooo thanks again for sticking around, and hopefully, I'll be talking to all of you more frequently!
